Tutorial 1

Import and manage case data

Create a case workspace so hearing dates, documents, notes, and next steps stay together.

Watch Importing and Managing Legal Case Data Efficiently on Loom

Try this in your workspace

  1. Open Cases and choose Add Case. For supported courts, enter the CNR or use the available court search.
  2. Check the imported court, parties, case number, and hearing information against the official court record before saving.
  3. Choose Add manually instead when a CNR is unavailable or live import is not supported for your forum.
  4. To bring in several cases, use Bulk upload with an eCourts myCases.txt, CSV, or Excel file. Review completed imports and any entries that need attention.

Tutorial 2

Manage documents and research

Use the case file as the starting point for document review, summaries, and legal research.

Try this in your workspace

  1. Open the relevant case and upload the documents you are authorised to process.
  2. Give the research tool a focused question, the relevant jurisdiction, and the facts or documents it should consider.
  3. Compare summaries with the original documents. Check each authority, citation, and quoted passage in its primary source.
  4. Keep the useful research notes with the case and record the questions that still need advocate review.

Tutorial 3

Draft with AI and templates

Turn case facts and drafting instructions into a first draft you can edit and verify.

Try this in your workspace

  1. Choose the document type or an appropriate template, then supply the parties, facts, and requested relief or purpose.
  2. Include the case context and specify the tone, structure, and facts the draft must use. Leave unknown details as placeholders.
  3. Review the generated draft for missing facts, unsupported authorities, dates, amounts, and local court requirements.
  4. Edit and approve the document before sharing or filing it. AI output is a starting point for your professional review.
